Tokyo-Sana
An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted Ishikawa Prefecture in central Japan today.
The Xinhua news agency quoted the Japan Meteorological Agency as saying that the epicenter of the quake was at 5.73 degrees north latitude and 127.3 degrees east longitude, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
No tsunami warning was issued, nor were there any damages or casualties due to the quake.
