As Suwayda Governorate witnessed a heavy turnout by citizens to receive the vaccine against the Corona virus in the health centers spread in the governorate, with the end of the last day of the national vaccination campaign launched by the Ministry of Health on the fifth of this month, targeting all citizens over the age of 18.

The head of the Public Health Programs Department in the As-Suwayda Health Directorate, Dr. Nahida Nasr, told SANA reporter that the demand for the vaccine is good compared to the population census in the governorate, where the vaccine was administered on average between 250 and 300 people per day throughout the campaign period, stressing that the work on giving the vaccine It continues even after the campaign ends and in all designated centers in the governorate.

For her part, the nurse Amal Al-Afif, who supervises the registration and data entry process at the Tuberculosis Center at the Martyr Zaid Al-Sharati Hospital, pointed out that the vaccination team is working hard to perform its duty and provide all facilities to facilitate taking the vaccine, and that the turnout was good during the campaign, which indicates the awareness of citizens of the need to receive the vaccine. the vaccine.

In turn, the nurse, Mofeda Dawara, indicated that all facilities are being provided to receive the vaccine easily without any obstacles.

The 80-year-old citizen, Nayef Ammar, pointed out the importance of citizens’ cooperation in taking the vaccine, as it is a good opportunity that the Ministry of Health has secured for the citizens to maintain their safety, while the citizen Salman Al-Aqbani stated that he and his wife came to take the vaccine out of their health awareness and their concern for their children and society.

Wessal Al-Mesber, who came with her husband to receive the vaccine, indicated that the process of taking the vaccine was easy and that she did not feel any symptoms, indicating that the organization worked without any delay for everyone who came to the center to take the vaccine, in addition to the presence of instructions and advice that are provided to the beneficiaries of the vaccine.
