By refusing any inflection on drug regulation, and betting on repression, Darmanin does not dispute the need for better health monitoring of smokers.
The green light given by Jean Castex to the town hall of Paris for "consumption rooms at lower risk" is not, moreover, a disavowal of the strategy of the Minister of the Interior.
Likewise, by showing himself to be a supporter of a relaxation of the legislation, the doctor Véran assures to be part of an exclusively sanitary logic and in no way libertarian.
