During the holiday: 2,583 needed medical treatment, a 15-year-old was killed in a car crash near Givat Shmuel

1,838 people were evacuated for further treatment in hospitals across the country, including 239 who fainted, dehydrated and felt unwell due to the fast.

A 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed while riding in an open area near the Ga'aton junction, and an 11-year-old boy was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle while riding his bicycle in Ayalon.

2,583 people required medical treatment during Yom Kippur, some 1,838 evacuated for further treatment in hospitals across the country - so said this evening (Thursday) from MDA. It was reported that 239 of those have been hospitalized fainting, dehydration and felt bad fast.

Cyclist 15 years old Killed last night by a car on Road 4 near Givat Shmuel, and a 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed this evening while riding in an open area near the Ga'aton junction.

Fifteen other people were injured in road accidents across the country, including one moderately injured and 14 lightly.

Also, 226 people were injured and in need of medical care due to a cycling injury, skates, scooters and skateboarding, of which 5 were moderately injured.
