In the house of Albariños at 2100, in the Don Bosco neighborhood, in Ramos Mejía, there were no other people.
Only Sabrina Susana Coronel (27), a young woman who lived in department C of a chorizo house, with her partner.
This Wednesday night the neighbors heard the screams and, later, the shots.
Police arrived after several calls to 911 and stormed the property after no one responded to the calls.
The mother and father of Nicolás Ezequiel Tinnirello (28) live in the front apartment, who heard the noises but did not dare to enter.
The scene was brutal: the woman was lying on her bed
with three shots
.
Above, crossed, was the victim's partner, also dead.
In his hand he had a 9-millimeter caliber Bersa pistol, the same one he used to photograph to upload to his social networks.
Sabrina had two shots to the chest and one that entered through the elbow while trying to defend herself from the assault.
He died before he could get out of bed.
After killing her, Tinnirello shot himself, also in the chest and collapsed on top of her.
Nicolás Ezequiel Tinnirello (28) uploaded photos of his weapon to social networks.
Judicial sources confirmed to
Clarín
that no previous complaints of gender violence had been registered, nor did Tinnirello's family warn of a history of mistreatment on the land they shared.
The femicide had an 11-year-old daughter, the product of a previous relationship.
He worked in a family business, a watch shop for taxis, in the Mataderos neighborhood.
Investigators presume that the femicide was preceded by a discussion linked to a news story:
Sabrina was 10 weeks pregnant.
The ultrasounds and medical tests had been scattered around the house.
The experts found them while lifting the tracks to advance the investigation.
The first impact for those who knew the femicide was of surprise, since they did not even suspect the history of violence in the couple, although they recognized that he used to control it.
The investigation was left in the hands of the La Matanza homicide prosecutor's office, led by Marcos Borghi, who ordered the autopsy and crime scene examinations.
They ruled out the intervention of third parties in the event and hope to accumulate the evidence to archive the file.
Gender violence
Between January 1 and August 31, 2021 there were 173 femicides, 9 transfemicides and 14 linked femicides of men, according to the report of the Observatory of Femicides in Argentina “Adriana Marisel Zambrano” who directs La Casa del Encuentro.
Of that total, 59 percent of the victims were killed by their partners or ex-partners.
There were 24 who, like Nicolás Tinnirello, committed suicide to avoid the criminal consequences of the crime, and seven of the victims were pregnant.
In the last ten years in Argentina there is an average of one femicide every 30 hours.
According to statistics from the Office of Domestic Violence of the Supreme Court, in 2018 alone there were 278. Most murders occur in the homes of the victims and are committed by partners or exes.
