Ten trainees received their journeyman's letters in the offices of the head master of the Fürstenfeldbruck carpenter's guild, Andreas Obermaier.

Then they were acquitted by master craftsman Franz Höfelsauer.

Fürstenfeldbruck - The three-year apprenticeship was certainly a strenuous journey, said Obermaier.

But every end also means a beginning.

The head master emphasized the value of training and the many opportunities that the profession offered them.

“You can even become a vocational school teacher.” The most important thing, however, is that they have persevered in their training.

"Even when it got tough, you bit your teeth."

For the future, the guild chief wished the journeymen that they would remain loyal to the region and not migrate.

"Remain loyal to our companies and the beautiful craft and do not migrate to any marginal professions or public institutions."

Höfelsauer also addressed the difficulties caused by the corona pandemic.

"The decision not to have a big acquittal ceremony with guests of honor, parents, friends and trainers was a very difficult one for us," he said.

“Nobody knew how it would go on.

Companies and vocational school were closed.

That was a special challenge for you. ”He thanked the chairman of the examination board, Hans Aumüller, who had ensured that the examination was carried out fairly according to the circumstances.

"Today you collect the wages", Höfelsauer turned to the freshly baked journeymen.

“Don't stop.

Educate yourself, make yourself a master craftsman and a business economist, ”he told them on their way.

Ten of the twelve trainees accepted the invitation and received their journeyman's certificate and their certificate from the head master.

Aumüller announced the results: Florian Trinkl from Olching from the Erwin Schedlbauer company (Maisach) was best in class, followed by Christoph Merkl from Bruck from the Holzmüller company (Moorenweis) and Simon Lambertz from Bruck from the Signum Art company (Bruck).

Simon Lambertz, who came out best in practice, had already taken part in the competition of the Chamber of Crafts in Munich and Upper Bavaria.

There he had achieved third place.
