Today, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 179 new infections with the Corona virus in Syria, the recovery of 45 cases, and the death of 7 cases of recorded cases of the virus.
The ministry stated, in a statement that SANA received a copy of, that the number of cases recorded in Syria has so far reached 30,153; 22,925 have been cured, and 2,104 have died.
And the first infection with the Corona virus was recorded in Syria on the twenty-second of March of last year for a person coming from outside the country, while the first death was recorded on the twenty-ninth of the same month.
