A village of trades will take place all weekend on the forecourt of Notre-Dame to make everyone discover the work of the workers at work.

The Hôtel de la Marine

For the first time on the heritage days program, this emblem of the Place de la Concorde will reveal many of its secrets.

Built by the king's first architect in the 18th century, it served as the seat of the ministry of the same name for two centuries.

This former place of power, neglected, is worth a look for its architecture and its fascinating history.

These heritage days are also under the sign of the European Year of Rail.

Discover the industrial history of cocoa in the Menier chocolate factory in Noisel (77)

If it has not produced sweets since 1992, the chocolate factory is exceptionally meeting visitors this weekend. Presented as the first chocolate factory in the world in 1898, the Menier factory in Noisiel is the first European building to be built on an exposed metal frame. Restoration workshops at the Air and Space Museum in Dugny (93)

The Air and Space Museum's restoration workshops are unveiled to the general public for the first time.

Visitors will thus discover the stages of restoration of the museum's heritage using canvas, boilermaking and carpentry.

The Frank Horvat studio (92)

Frank Horvat, who passed away last year, left a mark on the photography world in many ways.

First a photojournalist, then a street photographer, he rose to fame as a fashion photographer, renewing the genre in the 1960s. He was also one of the pioneers of digital techniques, switching to technology from the beginning of the years 90. He lived for decades in Boulogne-Billancourt and died there in 2020. For these heritage days, his daughter, in charge of showcasing his work, honors the gargantuan work of this early photographer on its time.
