The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, claimed for the "criminal, intensified" blockade that the United States has on the island in the midst of a pandemic, and pointed out a campaign of hatred towards his government through digital platforms.
Díaz-Canel thanked Mexico for solidarity and loyalty to his country.
The Cuban president participated as a special guest in the ceremony of the military parade that commemorates the anniversary of the beginning of the Independence of Mexico.
