According to the police, it happened in the morning around 11.30 a.m .: A 62-year-old woman from Krailling drove her Mini into the window of a shop.
Neither passers-by nor customers were injured in the store.
Even the driver herself got away with the horror. The total damage of 20,000 euros, however, was considerable. The police initially kept a low profile about the cause of the accident. Whether, as is so often the case in such cases, the accelerator pedal was mistaken for the brake, or whether a technical defect was responsible for the accident, is still the subject of police investigations, the Planegg inspection announced yesterday afternoon.
