State road 2370 had to be completely closed in the section of the municipality of Eurasburg (Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district).
The reason: Accidents every minute.
Eurasburg - Within a few minutes, two almost identical accidents occurred on Thursday on State Road 2370, on the section between Achmühle and Lengenwies.
The state road had to be completely closed to take care of the injured or to rescue the two vehicles involved in the accident.
According to the police, a fully occupied VW minibus came off the road at around 12.30 p.m.
The cause is not yet known.
In the minibus, which hit a tree, sat an "extended traveling family", according to the police.
Two of the inmates, including a pregnant woman, were slightly injured in the collision.
"The pregnant woman was only examined as a precaution by the rescue service," said a police spokesman for our newspaper.
A rescue helicopter, which had been requested for safety, was able to turn off again.
Only minutes later the second accident
Only a short time later there was a crash in the area of Lengenwies. Again it was a VW minibus, also fully occupied. "We are currently assuming that there were other members of the extended family on this bus," reports the police officer. The vehicle had also strayed from the state road for an as yet unexplained cause and got stuck in an adjacent meadow.
