Nine sentences of sentences between 2 years and 3 months and one year and 4 months, were requested by the prosecutor Vincenzo Pacileo at the trial, resumed in the Court of Assizes, for the events in Piazza San Carlo on June 3, 2017, when, during the projection on the big screen of the Champions Juve-Real final, waves of panic in the crowd caused over 1,500 injuries and, subsequently, the death of 2 women. Among the accused of disaster and manslaughter there are officials of the Municipality and of the Police Headquarters, in addition to the deputy prefect Roberto Dosio, for whom the request is one year and 10 months. According to the prosecutor, there were gaps in the organization and management of the event.
