The new infections reported on Thursday are below the value reported exactly one week ago.
In return, two other values increase slightly.

For comparison: the previous day the value was 77.9, a week ago it was 83.5.
In total, the RKI reported around 12,925 new infections.
Exactly a week ago, the value was given as 15,431 infections.
While the incidence and the number of new infections tend to decrease at least slightly, the number of registered deaths increases slightly.
In Germany, 68 deaths have been reported within the past 24 hours.

The number of corona patients admitted to clinics per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days was given by the RKI on Wednesday at 1.88 (Tuesday: 1.86).
A weekly or monthly comparison is not possible due to the high number of late registrations.
A nationwide threshold value from when the situation can be viewed critically is not provided for the incidence of hospitalization, among other things because of large regional differences.
The previous high was around 15.5 around Christmas time.
