After the wave of resignations of officials linked to Cristina Kirchner, the ministers
most loyal
to Alberto Fernández met with him at the Casa Rosada.
There was Sabina Frederic, one of the most
polished
personalities
by hard Kirchnerism
and who left a
symbolic photo
: she looked out of a window of the Government House and took a
breath in an afternoon that did not give respite
.
Wado de Pedro and at least a dozen ministers and other officials left their positions at the disposal of the President, this Wednesday at noon.
It happened three days
after the shock
that meant the resounding defeat of the Frente de Todos in the PASO 2021 elections and just when
Kirchnerism pressed
for a
forced renewal of the cabinet to be carried out.
The Minister of National Security was one of the few to
go out to
publicly
support
the President.
"
All my support
for Alberto Fernández, a
synthesis of popular unity
to achieve the country we want. The Frente de Todos is the guarantee for the will of the people expressed in 2019 to become a reality," he wrote on his Twitter account after 18.
Later, the photos in which, leaning out the window of the Casa Rosada, I was looking for
some air on a dizzying afternoon.
All my support for @alferdez, synthesis of popular unity to achieve the country we want.

Frederic is one of the
few
cabinet
ministers
, along with Elizabeth Gómez Alcorta (Women, Gender and Diversity) and Carla Vizzotti (Health, replaced Ginés González García).
Marcela Losardo (Justice) and María Eugenia Bielsa (Territorial Development and Habitat) were also part of the initial cabinet.
But they were removed after Cristina warned about "officials who do not work."
They were replaced by two Christian men: Martín Soria and Jorge Ferraresi.
One submitted his resignation;
the other would have offered -verbally- his position to Alberto F.

Now, almost a year after the vice president's criticism, the
main targets are Martín Guzmán and Santiago Cafiero
.
But Frederic is not too far on the list of reproaches K. Unlike them, he cannot offer in his
resume
the renegotiation of the debt that the Minister of Economy led in August 2020
or the faithful obstinacy of the Chief of Staff
.
And the sociological registry official
is always on the tightrope
, despite stepping out of her own academic comfort zone
to install a reelection campaign
for Alberto F. that today looks more distant than ever.
Berni's shadow and an expensive mistake
His appointment as head of the Ministry of Security was
questioned from the very beginning
of the Government.
With a background in the human sciences and
without a
management
background
in the matter, the anthropologist received criticism from the opposition and the ruling party itself, through Patricia Bullrich and Sergio Berni, respectively.
In the cases of other Albertist ministers, Christianity marks the field with strategically placed officials in second-order positions.
It is
the famous subdivision of the Frente de Todos
that is now in evidence.
Frederic's shadow comes
from outside
the national ministry, from the Province of Buenos Aires.
The sparks were not few.
Berni got involved with Frederic
for the repeal of the protocol for the use of Taser guns and, in the middle of the coronavirus quarantine, he publicly confronted her over the checkpoints on the bridges that link the City with the Province of Buenos Aires.
Sergio Berni and Sabina Frederic, in a meeting.
A confrontation that is not hidden.
Just days ago he appeared in Rosario as the leader of an anti-drug operation, after Frederic
compared the homicides in that city
with the data of murders in Buenos Aires territory.
In the framework of the division in the ruling party, the Buenos Aires official
always highlights his membership
: he assures that his "political boss" is Cristina Kirchner.
"When Cristina says we are going there, nobody thinks of going the other way. Alberto Fernández is the President and leads a coalition space, but our political space is led by Cristina," he said in mid-2020.
Despite the wear and tear with Berni, Frederic
tried to defend
Alberto Fernández
in recent months
from the numerous criticisms that come to him from the opposition and also from within the ruling party.
Along these lines, before the defeat in the PASO, he gave his support to the President to seek re-election in 2023.
"The actions in the Government take time.
Eight years are necessary
but that does not have to lead to the delay in the execution of actions. It does not have to make you sleep, quite the opposite. If there are eight years, the better," said the national minister, in tune with the wishes of Juan Zabaleta and Daniel Arroyo.

Despite his defense of the National Government, Frederic
made a slip
in the middle of the electoral campaign that
took its toll on
the Frente de Todos in the primaries last Sunday.
In the middle of the straight to the PASO and with the Olivosgate scandal still burning, they asked him about the Argentines who want to emigrate to escape the wave of insecurity in the country.
"Switzerland is quieter, but more boring,"
replied the minister.
Thus, it opened a new flank for electoral criticism of a government hit by the economy and by the management of the pandemic.

This Wednesday, with a message on Twitter, he tried to prop up Alberto Fernández again on a day that (almost) offered no respite.
