The "Long Night of Music" will take place in Poing on Saturday in compliance with the Corona 3G regulation.

From 5 p.m. to midnight at 25 venues.

Poing - The largest cultural event in the Ebersberg district after a long time and in compliance with the Corona 3G regulation will take place this Saturday, September 18, in Poing: the "Long Night of Music".

From 5 p.m. to midnight there will be music at 25 locations.

Live bands and groups, organ music and canned music.

The latter, for example, in the Orth garage (Eichenweg 6 in Poing-Süd), where the “Karaoke Night” starts at 7 pm.

To sing by yourself and have fun.

The same (plus dancing!) Applies to the “Mobile Disco”, which stops at three stations: from 6 p.m. to around 8 p.m. at the Bergfeldsee kiosk, from 8.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. on the market square and from 10 p.m. to midnight in the new underpass on S-Bahn station.

Poing: beer garden atmosphere on the construction container

The music band Poing also plays outdoors - from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the new construction management container of the consortium of developers and investors (ARGE) am Bergfeld.

The ARGE promises a "beer garden atmosphere" on the area on Bergfeldstrasse, opposite the Edeka market.

Anyone who deliberately wants to take an hour's break from the hectic, everyday life and co. Has the opportunity to do so from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the parish church of Seliger Rupert Mayer, with "Sound and Silence": an hour to listen, be quiet and sing along to meditative music.

This is performed by a group from the church choir and the youth band of the parish of St. Michael.

Poing: Music in the Churches

In the old St. Michael Church in Poingen (on Anzinger Straße), the new organist Simon Bauer will play from 9.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. on the church's Mühleisen organ, which is well-known far beyond the greater Munich area.

Classical and Jazz.

Classical tones also sound in the Protestant Christ Church when the Zmeskall Quartet plays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Live music in many bars

In various pubs and restaurants as well as in other places (the complete program is on) a lot of rock, pop and co. Is offered on Saturday.

With live bands from Poing and the surrounding area as well as from Munich.

Those who like it more traditional can come to the hall of mirrors in the community center between 5 and 8 p.m.

Rock music in the opera workshops

The workshops of the Bavarian State Opera on Gruber Straße (near BayWa-Markt) are an extraordinary venue that you would otherwise not come to.

The only Tom Petty tribute band in Germany will play there from 7.30 p.m. to 11 p.m.: Gainesville.

Also unusual: the OMV filling station at the roundabout.

Live music is also played there, from the Brockhouse rock band.

3G rule: registration required

No matter which location you visit: The Corona 3G rule applies everywhere, informs the municipality of Poing as the organizer.

Admission to the indoor areas is only possible with proof of one of the 3Gs: vaccinated, fully recovered or tested negative.

Anyone who has registered once by QR code or in writing, regardless of where, will receive a ribbon that is then valid for all venues throughout the evening.

Open-air events such as the mobile disco are excluded from registration, as they take place outdoors.

However, the distance and hygiene rules also apply here.

The complete program is available at www.poing.de
