The Ministry of Culture and the City of Paris have just launched a call for candidates. The names of the candidates to succeed Jean-Michel Ribes at the head of the Théâtre du Rond-Point have been agitating the community for a while.
“He dubbed me,”
says Pierre Notte, associate author of Rond-Point for ten years. Who feels legitimate to take up the torch. But many other hypotheses are running on the boards. Like that of Jean-Robert Charrier, current director of the Théâtre de la Porte Saint-Martin:
"For the moment, I refuse to answer the question until he has announced a departure date."
Or the ambitious Jean-Marie Besset, former director of the Théâtre des 13 Vents in Montpellier, who is in the running.
