Langenwang - After refueling, a driver forgot the tap in the tank opening and drove off.
The police are investigating because of an accident.
As the police reported, a previously unknown person filled up on Wednesday at around 5:35 p.m. drove at a self-service petrol station on the B19 and then drove off with his vehicle.
The person described had obviously forgotten to put the tap back into the pump.
When driving off, the tap tore off.
Strangely enough, the driver drove away without worrying about the tap that had been torn out.
The police have now started investigations on suspicion of an accident escape. Witnesses are asked to report on 08321 / 6635-0.
