Last month, the Israel Police launched a new wing to prevent crime in Arab society in the presence of the Prime Minister, the Minister of Internal Security and the Commissioner of Police, but deterrence has not yet been felt on the ground. Fifteen people have already been killed,

according to the Aman Center, the Arab Center for a Safe Society that monitors the numbers with concern, 85 people have been killed in Arab society since the beginning of the year. Aman, fears that this year, at the current rate, their number will exceed that number.

Earlier this week in the Aman Center, they expressed hope that the Ministry of Homeland Security's plan to deal with the violence and crime in Arab society presented in the Knesset would be implemented and that its fate would not be like the previous plans.

Aman's CEO stressed that although he supports the main points of the plan, he urges the government and the Ministry of Internal Security to adapt it and correct the "weaknesses associated with the conceptions underlying the plan", warning that "if left unchecked, the chances of success are slim.

" "Changing and building mechanisms that have failed in the past means a plan built on shaky foundations," he said.

It is a criminal economy that has also been integrated into the normative economy, and without updating the authorities' perception to this depth, the financing channel for crime will not be dealt with effectively. "
