Pflach - "Thank God the cultural Lent is over," said Pflach's Vice Mayor Reinhild Astl when she and chairwoman Veronika Kunz-Radolf gave the starting signal for the 32nd cultural time of the “Huanza” cultural initiative in the pavilion in Pflach.
The audience then followed a double event that left nothing to be desired in terms of contrast.
On the one hand, the “Hudaki Village Band” showed their skills, a musical septet that comes from the mountainous region of the Ukrainian Carpathians.
For centuries, Hungarian, Ukrainian, Romanian, Jewish cultures and Roma traditions have come together here, which they brought to the stage in a musical spectacle with a wide variety of musical instruments such as dulcimer, cimbalom, violin, flute, clarinet, guitar and accordion.
In contrast, Heidi Abfalter from Vils on the harp and Damian Brüggler from the Ötztal on the euphonium gave the prelude a special note with rather soft sounds.
With pieces of music specially arranged for the occasion, they met the taste of the around one hundred guests.
"A successful start that arouses curiosity about the next events," was the conclusion of one of the listeners.
Since yesterday, Friday, September 17th, the photo exhibition by Sebastian Wehrle can be seen in the “Kulturzeit” in the Raiffeisen Galerie Moment.
