Violence on the eve of Yom Kippur: Dozens were documented fighting with chairs in Hod Hasharon

Documentation from the event shows a crowd of dozens of people around a square in the city, during the eve of Yom Kippur.

For a reason that has not yet been determined, some of the people instead began chasing with some of those present with chairs, and even violently attacking them.

MDA reported that during the holiday, 31 people were injured in cases of violence across the country

Dozens of people were documented fighting last night (Wednesday) in Hod Hasharon, during the eve of Yom Kippur.

Documentation from the event shows a crowd of dozens of people around a town square.

For a reason that has not yet been determined, some of the crowd began to chase after some of those present with chairs, and even violently attacked them.

MDA reported that during the festival 31 people were injured in violent incidents that occurred across the country. Two men were shot to death during a holiday in Acre and Jisr az-Zarqa. 29-year-old man was seriously wounded in the head in a fight in Sakhnin, and 54-year-old man was seriously wounded Shfar'am.

During A 12-year-old cyclist was killed by a car on Highway 4 near Givat Shmuel, and a 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed this evening while riding in an open area near Ga'aton Junction.
