From mitzvah to mitzvah:
Shortly after they finished the Yom Kippur prayers, the keepers of tradition showed up for the next mitzvah - the construction of the Sukkot.
Until the late hours of the night, the hammers were heard in many cities throughout Israel, and the diligent builders are expected to continue the work in the coming days, until the Sukkot holiday that falls this coming Monday.

Along with the many independent builders, there have been a number of inspiring projects to build Sukkot for those who are unable to do so themselves.
One of them is the "Habonim Team" project of the Bnei Akiva movement, which began seven years ago in which volunteers will build Sukkot for the elderly, the disabled, Corona patients and the isolated.
The project is in memory of three IDF casualties - Major Banya Rein who fell in the Second Lebanon War, and Major Banya Israel and Sergeant Banya Rubel, who fell in Operation Eitan.
