CHRONICLE - The indictment of Agnès Buzyn relaunches the eternal debate around the responsibility of politicians and justice.

"The courts may not directly or indirectly take any part in the exercise of legislative power ..."

This text dates from August 16, 1790. It was therefore drafted and approved under the monarchy;

since then, it has never been amended or withdrawn.

It has gone through all the regimes: it is still in force.

In article 64 of the Constitution of the Fifth Republic, reference is made to

“judicial authority”

and not to

“power”.

And yet, three magistrates of our highest jurisdiction, the Court of Cassation, are investigating an investigation into the exercise of the responsibilities assumed by Agnès Buzyn when she was Minister of Health (until February 15, 2020) in the case of the Covid-19 - as it could have been done for others in the time of tainted blood.
