The director general of the CHU of Guadeloupe, where more than 70% of the agents are not vaccinated against the Covid-19, estimated Thursday to be
"in the impossibility"
to suspend them, as provided for by the law on the compulsory vaccination, entered into force Wednesday.
"I can not apply the law"
, told AFP Gérard Cotellon, the director of the hospital where 74.19% of non-medical staff have not yet started a vaccination course.
A situation which puts him
"in the impossibility"
of suspending unvaccinated agents, under penalty of penalizing the activity of the CHU, he said.
"I therefore take on myself this responsibility of running the hospital, despite the law,"
he lamented.
