IMF chief accused of pro-Chinese zeal

Kristalina Georgie will refute the opinion of an investigation into her conduct from 2017 to 2019 at the World Bank.

It is embarrassing that an independent cabinet appointed by the World Bank claims that China has been given unfair preferential treatment to improve its ranking in a report on the business climate in countries around the world.

The situation becomes even more delicate when it directly involves the person who has since become Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kristalina Georgieva.
