District / Füssen - Hans-Peter Kristen remains First Gauschützen Master of Schützengau Ostallgäu.

At the annual general meeting of the association in the Weißensee district of Füssen, the delegates of the 19 shooting clubs confirmed him in his office.

In addition to Kristen, most of his previous board colleagues will also remain in their offices.

Due to the failure of numerous activities of the shooters due to the Corona crisis, the Gauschützenmeister gave a slimmed-down report on the accounts for the years 2019 and 2020. He reported to the around 65 participants in the Schützenheim Roßmoos, among other things, a slight decline in membership in the Gau. At the end of 2020, it had 45 fewer members than a year earlier, when it was already down by 20 compared to 2018. "But we don't want to complain," said Kristen, referring to the current 2679 members. 624 of them belong to the shooting youth.

Kristen described the association's financial situation as "very good". Gau treasurer Willi Martin confirmed this in his report when he informed the meeting about "an increase in wealth" at the end of last year. The plus of around 19,400 euros resulted from the cancellation of various planned events last year. But not only because of the good cash situation, treasurer Hannelore Mark suggested that the actions of the board of directors be discharged, which the meeting then approved, as did Martin's budget proposal for 2021.

After the reports of the first Gau sports director Thomas Borosch and the Gau women's sports directorate Sabine Kößel on the activities of the past two years were short and sweet, the board honored twelve members of the Schützengau. Shooters from several clubs received not only their various awards, but also the applause of the meeting visitors.

There were only a few changes in the subsequent elections for the board of directors. Werner Strodl remains the second Gau gunner master, while Karolin Boxhorn takes over the post as the first Gau clerk again. Your deputy Martina Ungelert is new to the board. Willi Martin remains the first Gauschatzmeieter, while his deputy Ulrike Schwarz is new to this post. The two Gausport directors Thomas Borosch and Martin Feneberg were confirmed in their offices.

The first district youth sports director is still called Pierre D´Antino, Verena Mahler remains the first district youth sports director. The assembly re-elected Joachim Brückner as the Gau round competition director and Sabine Kößel as the Gau women's sports director. The old and new Gau pistol expert is Anton Wolf, and Gau bow expert Brunhilde Schmölz. In addition to Gau-Böllerreferent Rudolf Ungelert, Paul Maldoner also remains in office as an advisor for membership administration. Dietmar Sucharowski and Hannelore Mark are the cash auditors, while Josef Guggemos, Xaver Linder and Max Brenner will continue to be part of the Gau honor committee.
