The motorcycle professional Marcel Schrötter from Pflugdorf will also be racing in Moto2 next season.

The contract extension with the Memmingen Liqui Moly Intact GP team was officially announced on Friday.

Schrötter's new partner is 19-year-old Spaniard Jeremy Alcoba, who has competed in Moto3 since 2018 and finished 11th last season.
