The new structure of the autumn market is well received

The fact that for the first time at the autumn market on the redesigned Indersdorfer Marktplatz only regional marketers were offering a wide variety of goods was well received by the visitors. The beautiful late summer weather certainly contributed to this.

The fact that for the first time at the autumn market on the redesigned Indersdorfer Marktplatz only regional marketers were offering a wide variety of goods was well received by the visitors.

The beautiful late summer weather certainly contributed to this.

Indersdorf - The Kiening farm cheese dairy from Niederroth had several specialties on offer, and cold-pressed rapeseed oil came from the Goassa farm in Weitenwinterried. Herbs, honey and smoked fish could not be missing from the around 20 stands. Even hand-sewn children's clothing, leather goods and pottery opened the wallets of the market visitors. What you certainly do not get in every market, was the jewelry made from tree beads.

The Brugger-Hof from Sigmertshausen offered natural products such as soap, insoles and bedding, all made from alpaca wool. The musicians from Indersdorf gave a benefit concert to support the flood victims in the Ahr valley, which was initiated by Roland Hamberger from Ainhofen. They delighted in front of the town hall with brisk marches, hearty polkas and waltz melodies. The musicians weren't the only ones who agreed to support Ahrtal-Hilfe, which was represented with its own stand. Hamberger was able to look forward to donations in kind as well as vouchers from the Indersdorfer business people, who had opened their shops on the occasion of the autumn market and set up donation boxes.

The conversion of donations in kind into diesel is intended to ensure that the “Indersdorf helps” campaign can continue to bring relief supplies to the Ahr valley town of Dernau by truck. The proceeds from the auction of T-shirts on the market square that were signed by the famous music group “De Höhner” or the composer Olaf Hennig were not insignificant. Even all the actors who shot the movie “Freibad” at the Ainhofen public pool did not have to be asked to sign T-shirts for the benefit of the flood relief.

The autumn market also offered the opportunity to indulge in culinary delights with sausages and steaks from the Forche butcher's shop.

Many visitors also took the opportunity to sit down for a little chat in front of the “Zimtstern”.

The ice cream parlor was of course very busy.

In any case, it is clear that the restructuring of the autumn market has paid off.

In favor of the flood victims: Roland Hamberger was successful in auctioning signed T-shirts, also with the help of the Indersdorfer musicians.
