Within the framework of the worldwide celebration of the "
Sustainable
Mobility Week
2021
", various banking entities of the City of Buenos Aires, credit cards, and Buenos Aires bicycle stores, offer different
promotions
to buy bicycles, skateboards and safety accessories.
The offer started this Thursday 16 and will be available
until September 22
.
With important
discounts
that go
from 10% to 40%
and in different plans of
installments without interest (in 9, 18 and 24)
with different
credit cards, according to the bank, an attempt will be made to continue encouraging cultural change in community mobility.
In addition to bicycles, the
promotion
allows you to purchase accessories, such as the safety kit:
helmet, bell and lights

The celebration, promoted by the
Secretary of Transport and Public Works
of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, also promotes the
use of bicycles
, public transport and walking as environmentally friendly forms of mobility.
Bicycle use grew during the pandemic
Since the beginning of the pandemic, many porteños changed their way of transporting, turning to the use of bicycles: bicycle trips went from representing 4% of the total daily trips to 10.2%.

bicycle

For its part, the
Ministry of Economic Development and Production
of the City joined this initiative as part of its policy of generating conditions and programs that accompany and help the productive sector, in this case through
promotions and discounts
to highlight the value of the bicycle industry and ensure that more people can access their own bike.
"In a context of reactivation of the post-pandemic local economy, it is important that the City Government encourages and encourages consumption in the productive sectors, in neighborhood shops, in SMEs," said the Minister of Development Economic and Production of the City,

Those who are not clients of the bank can request a 100% digital plastic.

on the purchase of bicycles in affiliated shops if you pay through the

40% discount and up to 18 interest-free installments
in selected bicycle
stores
