The Ministry of Productive Development and the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security this week regulated the conditions for accessing the

Te Sumo Plan

, the initiative aimed at achieving the labor insertion of young people

between 18 and 24 years old

, a strip that was especially seen affected by the coronavirus pandemic, while promoting the creation of new sources of work.

Through joint resolution 9/2021 published in the Official Gazette, the program contemplates a

reduction in employer contributions

for SMEs that hire young people, and they will also receive

financial support from the State

for the payment of wages during

the first 12 months

from of the employment discharge of young people.

The reduction will be applied to the hiring that takes place from September 1, 2021 and increases the payroll of workers in August 2021. It is a 95% reduction in the event that the hiring is of a woman, transvestite, transsexual or transgender, or a person with a certified disability;

and 90% in case the contracted person is male.

The plan is for youth between the ages of 18 and 24 inclusive.

What are the available offers?

Who cannot be part of the Te Sumo plan benefit?

This benefit does not apply to people who, at the time of being hired, have a

It also does not cover the incorporations made by a company within 12 months from the

dismissal without just cause

Employers who appear in the Public Registry of Employers with Labor Sanctions (REPSAL) or who engage in practices of

abusive use of the benefit
