The Egyptian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 14 deaths and 588 new infections with the emerging corona virus during the last 24 hours.
Khaled Mujahid, the official spokesman for the ministry, said that the total number of people infected with the virus that was registered in Egypt is 295,639, while the total number of deaths reached 53,961 cases.
He indicated that 657 patients had been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 249082.
