Deir Ezzor-SANA
In celebration of the fourth anniversary of the liberation of the neighborhoods and towns located in the Jazira area in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, a mass celebration was held in the Martyrs Square in the town of Mazloum, which included speeches and poems.
The participants pointed out that the liberation of this region came thanks to the blood of our righteous martyrs and the heroism of the men of the Syrian Arab Army led by President Bashar al-Assad, stressing that they hope to complete the liberation of the rest of the Syrian island and the entire soil of the homeland from the abomination of terrorism and occupation.
Sheikh Huwaidi Al-Hindawi, the sheikh of the Al-Rashid clan, said that this day constitutes a beautiful memory for all the people of the region, because it is the day when the men of the Syrian Arab Army were able to purify their villages and towns from the abomination of terrorism, praising the government support that contributed to the rapid return of services to the region.
Sheikh Jamil Al-Shalal from the town of Khesham drew attention to the sacrifices of the martyrs and the heroism of the men of the Syrian Arab Army, which contributed to the return of the people to their homes after their displacement due to the terrorism that targeted the stone and human beings, stressing that all the people of Syria are continuing to rebuild what was destroyed by terrorism.
Mukhtar Murat Muhammad al-Rakkad indicated that the people of the region have great confidence in the men of the Syrian Arab Army under the leadership of President al-Assad to complete the victories and liberate the entire territory of the Syrian island, stressing that they will be the side of the army in the battle of liberation, construction and reconstruction of what was destroyed by terrorism.
In turn, the head of the Mazloum Town Council, Younis al-Khidr, explained that the seven neighborhoods and towns in the northern countryside of the governorate, “Khasham, Al-Tabia, Mazloum, Hatla, Marrat, Al-Husseiniya, and Al-Salhiya” have witnessed since their liberation from terrorism at the end of 2017, a state of recovery as a result of government support that contributed to the return of services of all kinds. Rehabilitation of what was destroyed by terrorism, which contributed to the massive return of the people, which reached about 75,000 citizens, who were a decisive factor in the rotation of the wheel of production.
It is noteworthy that on September 18, 2017, the Syrian Arab Army units managed to cross the bank of the Euphrates River, enter the area, and cleanse it of the abomination of ISIS terrorists.
The ceremony was attended by the governor of Deir Ezzor, Fadel Najjar, the secretary of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party branch, Raed Al-Ghadban, and the provincial police chief, Major General Bilal Mahmoud.
