The evening, which was held by the Association of Candles of Peace in the cultural Abu Rummaneh yesterday, included some literary writings and attempts to write poetry, and its topics varied between patriotic, humanitarian and social.
Media writer Rana Ali, who moderated the evening, presented poetic texts she chose for poets throughout history, carrying their poems, originality and contemporary, in addition to introducing the participants.
The storyteller Nihad Al-Issa in his story “Autumn Leaves” reflected social concerns and humanitarian and patriotic attitudes through a narration of the foundations of building the story and controlling the event to the end.
The narrator Nizar Mezher also gave very short stories in which he expressed a sincere human emotion, using the flash to tell the very short story.
Aisha Hasnat, Najwa Al-Haffar, Ahmed Salma, Kinaina Diab and Allam Abdel-Hadi presented writings that varied between poetry, prose and restricted thought. The writings presented patriotic and emotional topics with sincere emotional emotions.
Regarding his writing and his commitment to the poetry of the two parts, the poet Ahmed Salma pointed out that passion plays a big role, especially if it depends on a real talent.
In turn, the poet Manhal Al-Ghadban, in his intervention, saw that long introductions and narrations through poetic texts lose the connection between the poet and the recipient, while the poet Shadia Al-Hamou showed that there is a difference in levels between the texts.
Lina Rizk, head of the Shamwa al-Salam Association, pointed out that these activities are held with the aim of strengthening the bonds of love, expressing its importance, and trying to shed light on those who have talents in the midst of conspiracies being hatched against the homeland.
