A man is said to have killed his wife in the Nymphenburg district.

The alleged perpetrator's motive is shocking.

Now he is being tried.

Munich - Was it a cold-blooded act?

Or a deadly misunderstanding?

The Munich * district court must now deal with this question.

There the murder trial against Roland H. (37) begins next Friday (September 24th).

The IT consultant is said to have stabbed his wife in Nymphenburg *.

Born in Munich, she was found murdered on October 12, 2020 in an apartment near the Nymphenburg Canal *.

According to the investigation, she was with

several knife wounds killed.

Her husband had turned himself in to the police *: During the inspection in Neuhausen, he made a confession

and then led the officers to the crime scene themselves.

Munich investigators puzzle: was jealousy the motive for the murder?

Many details became known about the gruesome act afterwards.

For example, that the couple had been married since mid-2018.

In the summer, however, the later murdered woman is said to have become estranged and, according to the investigations, made contact with other men *.

Roland H. noticed this and is said to have become jealous.

In this, the investigators see the motive that should have led to the murder in October 2020.

According to this, Roland H. suspected that his wife was cheating on him.

A fatal mistake: because she had not yet met other men, only contact had been made via cell phone.

On the evening of the deed, there should have been a dispute about it.

The IT consultant then presumably stabbed his wife from behind while she was sitting on the sofa.

Originally also investigated for manslaughter, but the District Court of Munich I has admitted an indictment of murder.

The case will now be heard on Friday in front of the large jury chamber.

Roland L. faces life imprisonment.
