The Lebanese authorities seized 20 tons of ammonium nitrate, which was loaded by a truck, inside a warehouse for selling agricultural fertilizers in the plain of Badnayl, near Baalbek, eastern Lebanon.
The Lebanese National News Agency quoted Lebanese Interior Minister Bassam al-Mawlawi as saying today that "the security forces transferred this seized amount of ammonium nitrate from Baalbek to a safer area," noting that measures were taken "to conduct a comprehensive survey of the area" to ensure that there is no danger to the safety of citizens. .
