According to data from the Ministry of Health published tonight (Saturday), 4,863 people infected with corona were diagnosed yesterday with 89,610 tests to detect the virus.
As of this moment, 717 seriously ill patients are hospitalized in the corona wards, of whom 195 are respirators.
7,507 patients died from the outbreak of the plague in Israel.
The data show that most severe patients in corona wards are not vaccinated.
These are the data as published by the Ministry of Health tonight, by age groups per 100,000:
• People aged 60 and under: Unvaccinated - 7, Immunized without a booster dose - 1.9, Vaccinated with an booster dose - 0.4.
• Aged 60 and over: Unvaccinated 160.6, vaccinated without booster dose -35.3, vaccinated with booster dose -4.6.
As of this moment, 3,031,423 have been vaccinated in the third dose, 5,574,359 have been vaccinated in the second dose and 6,061,244 in the first dose.
Based on these data, the FDA recommended that only those aged 65 and over and populations at increased risk be vaccinated in the third dose, but decided not to recommend vaccinating anyone over the age of 16 until further information is available.
