Registration is required, both for the anniversary and for the workshops. “It is essential to register for the event!” Emphasized Ertel.
All lecture cards issued from the summer semester 2020 (first lockdown) are still valid in the winter semester. Due to the coronavirus, the corona solos are still charged for individual courses. "Once the pandemic has ended, there will be no solos," emphasized Ertel. Ertel is very satisfied with the current registration situation. “You can see light at the end of the tunnel”. Another highlight is the exhibition “City and Country - Free Painting with Acrylic Paints” in Poing. The vernissage will take place on September 24th at 7 p.m. Due to the pandemic, the vhs also found its semester focus on “Family”. A vhs employee was able to report many facets from her own everyday life with homeschooling, home office and a lack of leisure activities.
Everything did not always go smoothly. Correspondingly, there are courses on the design of family life in all departments. Individual courses can be booked as a family, such as a family hike in the creative area and, last but not least, the family cooking course, for example. Ertel also offers a cooking course for singles, which could perhaps be the basis for family life. The literary competition for young people will take place this semester on the subject of “power”. Will be rated in two age groups. There are around 190 language courses in the vhs program.
A separate table has been set up for online offers to make it easier for interested parties to get an overview. The vhs managing director particularly emphasized the many collaborations that the vhs-Vaterstetten have with other institutions and partner adult education centers. Not without pride, Ertel refers to around 1,400 vhs events and hopes to achieve the number of participants from the pre-Corona period in the semester again. ar
