Oberallgäu - After the first edition, Bosch BKK and its network partners are starting the second round of the "Challenge Garbage-Free Oberallgäu".
Strictly speaking, there are now two competitions, and the large garbage collection campaign under the title “Challenge Garbage-Free Allgäu” combines the two campaigns Garbage-free Oberallgäu and Garbage-free Ostallgäu under one roof.
The starting shot is on September 25th.
Billing will take place on October 10th.
The principle has remained unchanged after the success of last year: As part of the challenge, the teams from the participating schools and companies will "comb through" the mountains, meadows and forests from September 25th to October 10th, to remove the nature and landscape of what has been left behind Rubbish Free.
The collected garbage is disposed of professionally by competent partners.
2000 pupils take part
"Last year there were more than 800 students in the teams of the participating schools," suggests project manager Thomas Mayinger from Bosch BKK and is certain: "This year there will be more than 2,000."
With the help of a few comments from participants in the first bet, Mayinger outlined the enthusiasm with which the students participated in the autumn of last year.
Not only the snack was praised, but above all the idea of the challenge and the team experience.
Pfronten and Füssen join in
Last but not least, the commercial plant manager at Bosch, Anke Richmann, is enthusiastic about the "growth" for the challenge: "Now the Ostallgäu schools are also there, the municipalities of Pfronten and Füssen and the company Deckel Maho / DMG Mori."
AllgäuStrom is also on board with its nine network partners in the region.
With the regional expansion of the Challenge, the generic term “Challenge Garbage-Free Allgäu” was created.
This year Bosch was able to win over and inspire a total of 26 organizations, companies and associations for the challenge.
Enlightenment for a garbage-free Oberallgäu
As a new partner in Ostallgäu, the mechanical engineering company Deckel Haho / DMG Mori is another competent Allgäu company on board for the challenge.
"Challenges are not new to us," said managing director Reinhard Musch when he called for the first Ostallgäu garbage bet.
Actually, according to the objection of the new challenge partner Pfronten, represented by Mayor Alfons Haf, such an action should not be necessary. The reality shows, however, that not all people have handled their garbage and rubbish properly. In the end, such challenge campaigns are all the more important. Thanks to the committed project partners, there are many attractive prizes for the hard-working teams this year as well.
