The administration of the craft area in the village of Umm al-Zaytoun in Sweida has completed the electrical works for the area, which include the establishment of an electrical transmission center with a capacity of 200 kV and the installation of medium-voltage lines feeding it.
The director of the craft area in Umm al-Zaytoun, Qahtan Shalghin, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the cost of the electrical works carried out exceeds 51 million pounds, and is added to the previously completed low-voltage network, in addition to the internal water network, the sewage collection center and the administrative headquarters building.
Şelgin pointed out that the completion rate of infrastructure works in the region exceeded 80 percent, with the remains of paving and asphalting of the roads that are carried out after the completion of the construction of the switches that are being worked on.
The number of partitions for the artisanal area in Umm al-Zaytoun is 550 divided, and its total area is about 170 dunums.
