The new start after Corona was celebrated with a bang in the linden cellar. There was hardly a better formation than "Double Drums" for that.

- The two exceptional drummers knocked the dust off the tired dancing bones and could be the loud preamble for a promising cultural season in Freising.

Around 60 music fans had gathered in the Lindenkeller to finally be able to enjoy a concert far away from open airs. Due to the distance rules for the seats, the lower house looked quite full, although a few would have fit in. For Bader, the matter is complex, because in principle, according to his own statements, he could have filled the Lindenkeller with the 3G regulation. However, then the audience would have had to keep their masks on, and he wanted to avoid that.

The concert itself was a tremendous clap of thunder. “Double Drums” have long since ceased to be unknowns whose appearances between the soundtrack and the soundscape are completely beyond the scope of a concert. In doing so, they span the range and sketch classic as well as modern works from scratch, completely peeling out the rhythmic heartbeat of the songs. Your show “Beat Rhapsody” shines equally through the loud and the filigree, regardless of whether it is on the marimba or on a cardboard box. With great charm, Philipp Jungk and Alex Glöggler tilt the proportions by pushing the percussion into the foreground and the piece of music per se in the background, in their case often as a loop. This allows reinterpretations such as “Precious” by Depeche Mode to develop a whole new drive.

But also the classical music wins: Whether it is “Nessun dorma” or “Ave Maria” - the awesome remains, but dusted off and catapulted into the present.

Because it is also the visual that appeals to both of them and turns the show into a mixture of concert and musical theater - with huge success, which the thunderous applause proved.

After 90 minutes it was very quiet again in the linden cellar.

But this time you know for sure that the next artists will soon be on stage.
