Di Zhiyuan: Repositioning Moderate and Reasonable Can Still Participate

When Di Zhiyuan met with the media, he expressed conflicting feelings, "This battle is not easy to fight. I want more people to follow my gentle and rational path, which represents the voice of some Hong Kong citizens to serve the people, but today I say that there is some loneliness." After speaking, he choked for a while.

Di Zhiyuan pointed out that although he won the seat by drawing lots, he still has to thank the voters and the election support team for their support.

He pointed out that the competition in this election was fierce. After being elected, he joined other social welfare friends to express the demands of the social welfare sector to the Chief Executive and candidates for the Legislative Council.

Regarding the election, only a few non-organizational factions won. Di Zhiyuan believes that "the head is not better than everything." In the future, he will combine the energies of all walks of life to do a good job in social welfare issues.

When asked whether there is no room for non-establishment parties in the election, Di Zhiyuan believes that as long as they are repositioned to be moderate and rational, non-organizationalists will still have room for election in the future. He also said that even if there are only one or two voices, they can represent Hong Kong. Everyone must strive for it.

As for whether the results of this election will affect the deployment of the new thinking in the Legislative Council election, Di Zhiyuan said that two days before the vote, the new thinking had held a meeting. For the time being, three to four members will stand for election, but the general assembly will still be passed in the end.

After the interview, members of New Thinking presented him with a Batman model, which means that he hopes that he can help more disadvantaged communities in the social welfare sector.
