Munich - For the culture industry in the Free State of Bavaria there are further easing in the Corona * pandemic.

In the future, cultural institutions will be free to decide whether they want distances between individual visitors.

Corona in Bavaria: Cultural institutions can determine a rule themselves

If guests are placed 1.5 meters apart, there is no mask requirement.

If the minimum spacing is waived, it remains.

This emerges from the new framework that the Ministry of Art presented on Sunday (September 19).

For cultural events, the 3G rule applies from an incidence of 35 or more.

So visitors have to be vaccinated, recovered or tested negative.

With more than 1000 visitors, the rule applies outside and inside regardless of the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days (incidence *).

Outside there is no longer a mask requirement, even at larger events.

Performers are allowed to forego a minimum distance due to “artistic considerations”

Participants do not have to wear a mask if it hinders the artistic performance, according to the new framework concept.

In addition, the minimum distance can be dispensed with for artistic reasons.

Contacts are still recorded, but no longer related to the seat.

From now on, the contact details of the ticket buyer are sufficient.

The corona rules are also changing for Bavarian daycare centers.

Family Minister Carolina Trautner once again reminded of what that means in concrete terms for unvaccinated employees.
