Guard Ofri Naveh will continue in the youth department of Maccabi Tel Aviv and will not play next season at Monteverde High School in the United States.
As you may recall, last month we announced that the young player (16, 1.99 m), one of the best in Israeli basketball at his age, enrolled in the prestigious Monteverda High School, which is considered the number 1 in the United States in terms of basketball.
Neveh has recently been in the United States, but after a short period of unsuccessful acclimatization, the player realized that in Israel, and especially in the successful department of the Yellows, he will be able to develop better for his professional future.
Maccabi Tel Aviv, who even before enrolling in the prestigious high school, tried to persuade the player to stay, are very pleased that the player will continue in their services, and may later offer him a long-term contract in accordance with policies with other young talent in recent years.
