Poing - The youth center for the Long Night of Music did not expect such a flood of visitors: “We thought there would be around 30 to 40 spectators again, as usual.

Instead, we distributed 300 entry wristbands, ”says director Kathi Schwab.

In the workshops of the Bavarian State Opera, the band Gainesville was amazed by the 50 to 80 listeners: "Thank you so much that so many people have come so far," said singer Detlef Wolff on stage.

He was pleased that they would have got one of the most beautiful places of the Long Night amid the crane, paint splatters on the floor and paintings on the walls: “As beautiful as the stage is, we were also uncertain whether anyone would even find the way out here (on Gruber Strasse, near the BayWa hardware store, the editor.) “Especially because this year, due to Corona, there was no shuttle bus to take citizens to the respective concerts as a precaution.
