Moscow-Sana

The Russian Interior Ministry announced that no violations were recorded that would be reflected in the results of the ongoing elections in the country.

Mikhail Davydov, head of the General Administration for the Protection of Public Order and Coordination with the Ministry's Executive Authorities, said during a meeting of the Russian Central Elections Committee, according to Interfax, "The administration has so far not recorded any significant problems with the conduct of the elections or serious violations affecting the elections."

He pointed out that since the beginning of the voting process last Friday, the ministry has received more than 750 communications regarding the electoral process and about 5.8 thousand communications since the start of the election campaign, "a number one and a half times less than the number recorded in the previous parliamentary elections in 2016."

By decision of the Russian Central Election Commission, elections to the State Duma in Russia will be held from September 17 to 19, in conjunction with regional and local elections. This year, online voting is held in Moscow and 6 other provinces.
