Corona spread in Israel: In a
meeting held today (Sunday) in Zoom between the director general of the Ministry of Health, Prof. Nachman Ash, and the hospital directors, he said that "the mortality rate among severe corona patients is similar to that in the third wave and that worries me."
He further said that the number of patients is expected to increase and we are in a heavier wave than the previous waves.
It also sought to realize the second pulsation of the manpower increase promised to the hospitals in reaching 1,200 patients (100 male and female doctors, 550 nurses).
Although there are currently 730 patients in critical condition in the hospitals, due to the alarming situation, Prof. Ash is interested in bringing the time forward.
A senior official in the ministry noted that "it is necessary to make a preference for who will be hospitalized in intensive care."
