Brian Lowry, 23, and his fiancée Gabi Patito, 22, went on a long trip across the United States, but only one of the couple returned from the trip.
Patito's parents declared her missing last week, and now police suspect Laundry, who was silent during his interrogation at the behest of his lawyer and on Saturday disappeared from his home and is now also in the possession of a missing person.
The couple traveled the southwestern United States together and uploaded to social media photos and videos in which they declare their love and look happy together.
But according to information revealed in the media, Patito and Laundry had a quarrel a few weeks before Patito's disappearance, when the police arrived at the scene and separated them.
Documentation from the brawl between the two showed Patito hitting Lowry and he grabs her face violently.
In the video, filmed Aug. 12 by Utah police officers, it appears that the idyll that the two broadcast on their social network accounts was far from reality.
The video shows the couple's vehicle speeding at insane speed and then colliding with a sidewalk in the tourist town of Moab.

Patito is seen in the video apologizing to the cops and saying that "we just had a little fight this morning, because of our personal issues." The young woman added in the video that "I suffer from an obsessive compulsive disorder and some days it makes me mean to my partner. It frustrates me and I apologized to him, I am not going to complain against him he is my fiancé and I love him. I apologize that the quarrel between us went out in public." City police were not impressed with the explanation apparently because the quarrel seemed severe and so they decided that the couple would sleep separately that night. Gabi was left to sleep in the car and Brian slept in a roadside hotel.
The video was the last time the young woman was seen alive, and Laundry's absence from his home led police to suspect he was behind her disappearance. Hundreds of volunteers and 50 FBI agents are participating in the search for the couple, and masses have rallied on social media to raise awareness of Patito's disappearance.
The search is being conducted at the giant Carlton Park in the state of Florida. The searches are done using patrol dogs, drones and many volunteers who scan all the trails in the giant reserve as well as the beaches in the area. Further searches are also done in Teton Park where the couple was last seen together.
