The governor of La Rioja, Ricardo Quintela, expressed his

support

for President Alberto Fernández

on Sunday

, after the summit of government leaders in his province, to show unity after the tough electoral defeat in the PASO and the crisis in the national Cabinet.

"Any of us can be expendable, but

the President

 of the Argentines and Argentines

cannot be expendable

. We have to seek a containment agenda so that the debate can generate unity in diversity," said the Riojan in dialogue with Radio 10.

The head of state traveled to the province and was received by the host, who said that the meeting was

"very cordial"

, which took place in a short period of time between ten governors who were in person and another five virtually .

In addition to Quintela and Juan Manzur, who will occupy the position of head of the national Cabinet in replacement of Santiago Cafiero, the following were present:

Sergio Uñac

, from San Juan;

Jorge Capitanich

, from Chaco;

Alberto Rodríguez Saá

, from San Luis;

Sergio Ziliotto

, from La Pampa;

Gildo Insfrán

, from Formosa,

Gerardo Zamora

, from Santiago del Estero; and

Mariano Arcioni

, from Chubut.

"It was an important meeting where

the results were evaluated province by province

in a quantitative way: how many voters did not go to vote basically; and in a qualitative way: which sectors did not go to vote and sectors that always voted for justicialism prevailed," explained Quintela.

The governor considered that there were

 errors in the communication strategy of

the electoral campaign that were the main deficit, which influenced the meager result of the polls in the past Primaries.

"We talk about

unity in diversity

, that diversity does not exceed the capacity for unity that justicialism has, that we can have internal currents that we can think differently, but that we have to agree on a common goal: to guarantee that Argentines have greater possibilities of living a little better, "added the provincial president.

After a week of confrontations between the President and the vice president, the Riojan governor said that the possibility of a rupture was not the subject of debate and that "permanently" everyone spoke of Alberto and Cristina.

"We have to try to generate a containment scheme so that the debate tends to generate unity in diversity, that the concept of unity surpasses diversity so that it allows us to be united to achieve the objectives," he insisted.

The provincial leader also referred to the fact that the economic situation influenced the electoral defeat and that in the face of the general elections in November the objective will be to promote an "inclusive policy to improve the quality of life of the people."
