For the last time, before the federal election, they have the chance to convince the voters of themselves again. The race is close. Small subtleties can make a big difference. In order to balance the chances of the candidates in the discussions, the respective speaking time is measured. The moderators Linda Zervakis and Claudia von Brauchitsch keep looking at the time display.
"Then I would ask you, Ms. Baerbock, to be a little shorter on the following topic," the moderator concludes with the first look at this ad.
But wait a minute, isn't there something wrong?
Annalena Baerbock is well behind the male candidates Scholz and Laschet with a speaking share of 6:49 minutes.
It is not the first time that the Green candidate has suffered a timing mishap.

Another breakdown in TV-Triell: "Crazy" - Baerbock is stalled, although she has less speech
This time, however, it is not the measurement itself, but a mistake by the moderator Claudia von Brauchitsch to blame.
She just doesn't seem to have looked closely.
The audience immediately sounded the alarm: “Why are Scholz and Laschet always allowed to counter and Baerbock is stalled even though she has less part of the speech?” Asks a viewer on Twitter.
And the party colleagues also support Baerbock.

"I made a small mistake": The presenter apologizes for the breakdown at TV-Triell
A few minutes later, however, moderator Claudia von Brauchitsch did the only right thing: she interrupted the current debate, apologized and corrected her statement: “I made a small mistake”.
Annalena Baerbock had so far had the least amount of speech.
An important correction, because the time measurement naturally influences who is stalled or interrupted faster.
This was shown in the second TV triall.
Here there were errors in the time measurement during the broadcast.
Apparently there was a software error behind this.
In the end, Annalena Baerbock left the show with the least amount of speech.
Von Brauchitsch's quick reaction to her own mishap could have prevented a disadvantage this time.
