Accordingly, there is no general answer to how many new admissions or additions of Covid 19 cases are still manageable in the intensive care unit. "As the number of cases increases, we have increasing numbers of patients," emphasizes Julia Jäckel, employee in corporate communications at the clinic, after consulting the pandemic officer and chief physician of the Agatharieder emergency center, Dr.Steffen Herdtle.

According to Jäckel, only unvaccinated patients will continue to receive intensive care for a corona infection.
In the normal ward, people are occasionally provided with a full vaccination, but with them there are usually additional factors such as previous illnesses, advanced age or a second vaccination that was long in the past.
A look at the DIVI intensive register
A look at the DIVI intensive care register provides at least a more detailed comparison on the subject of hospital utilization. There are currently 26 intensive care beds for Agatharied (as of yesterday), 23 of which are occupied. However, there are only two Covid 19 patients (both invasively ventilated) among them, a share of 7.69 percent. The proportion of free intensive care beds for the district hospital is given as 11.54 percent. This means that the district of Miesbach appears on the DIVI map in the second-highest of the five stress levels with the color light red (10 to 15 percent free intensive care beds). For comparison: In the neighboring district of Rosenheim this value is 12.12 percent, in Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen it is 8.33 percent (dark red level).
