Olching - A large-format poster by BÜNDNIS 90 / DIE GRÜNEN at the Olching train station has been almost completely destroyed.
The vandalism was discovered on the morning of September 19th.
Judging by the torn scraps lying around, the poster had only recently been damaged.
The large-format poster showing Chancellor candidate Annalena Baerbock is a donation from a private person.
The property damage was reported immediately.
"With the destruction of the large-format poster at the train station, a new dimension has been reached," says Heide Kuckelkorn, spokeswoman for the board of the local green association.
“In this election campaign we see a lot of damage to election posters.
We don't just have torn posters like we do now at the train station.
Poster stands have already been stolen, cut off, trampled on or thrown into the Amper Canal.
Some of the destroyed stands then stand around hazardous to traffic.
For the volunteers, it is associated with considerable effort to repair this damage. "
